I have received a lot of requests and questions for the nose area. Some people want to reshape or slim the nose and others want to make it bigger. In this video, I will show you some isometric exercise for the muscles around the nose area. This exercise can help to firm up the muscles around the nostrils and as a result, they can reshape, tone and narrow the nose area.
The Truth Most People Know But Many Do Not Follow The change on the nose areas are not as dramatic or obvious as on the body or other parts of your face. You cannot expect overnight changes by doing the exercise once a week. Remember the nose is made of cartilage not muscle, so we can only work on the muscles around the nose. You need patience. You need to do the exercise daily. You need to do the exercise diligently. Then you will see the results.
1. Nose shortener With age, there are many changes that happen in the body– especially in bones and muscles. Practising this exercise over a long period can help you reduce the rate of deterioration of the cartilage in your nose. In this exercise, you need to place your index finger on the tip of your nose and press it gently. Now, push that finger down by exerting downward pressure by your nose. You can do this daily for as many times as you can.
2. Nose straightener Your smile is one of the best gifts that nature has given to you. It surely might have worked wonders for you many times when you would have been stressed out. You would be glad to know that it can also help you to get a straightened nose. To do this exercise, you need to smile and push your nose upwards. This helps to build the muscles that are on the sides of your nose. This needs to be done daily for twenty to thirty times to get a straighter nose.
3. Nose shaper This one is for women who are not happy with the shape of their nose. With this workout for your nose, there are chances that you can change its shape and sculpt it to the shape you want. Press the bottom sides of your nose with the help of your index fingers, while flaring the nostrils. This exercise also prevents your nose from sagging.
4. Nose wiggling This exercise is more for building the muscles of your nose than reshaping it. In order to do this, you need to wiggle your nose vigorously while taking care that your face is completely still during the process.
5. Breathing exercise It is a wonderful way to strengthen and shape your nose. You need to block your nostril on one side, and inhale within four seconds from the free one. Now reverse the blocking and exhale from the open one for eight seconds.
6. Smile line eliminator The lines around your nose, commonly known as smile lines get deeper by age, and do not look nice. To get rid of these, try this simple exercise daily. First, fill your mouth with air and close it tightly. Then move that air in all four directions within your mouth. Hold the air each time for five seconds and finally release it.
7. Massaging In addition to giving a narrower shape to your nose, this exercise is also perfect for those suffering from sinus or migraine. Massage each area of your nose, i.e., the bridge, the tip and the sides, for about five minutes daily. Do this exercise gently in circular motion.
