Avril Lavigne Allegedly Replaced by a Doppelgänger

Avril Ramona Lavigne is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actress. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain; by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records worth more than $2 million.

A bizarre theory claiming that singer Avril Lavigne was replaced by a doppelgänger after she killed herself was started as a joke on a Brazilian web site.

Avril Lavigne was once the poster girl for hot topic rebellious teens and her catchy hits launched her into fame. However, recently there’s been a conspiracy going on that the Sk8r Boi singer has been long dead and that she has been replaced by a doppelganger.

The conspiracy goes that Avril couldn’t take the rush of fame that followed her debut album Let Go. After the release of the album Avril fell into a deep depression under the pressure of fame and committed suicide. The whole situation was kept secret from the general population and was replaced by a doppelganger named Melissa Vandella.

The proof the conspiracy theorist bring up is the lack of tattoos and blemishes on the pop singers body. In addition, they even have proof of ‘fake-Avril’ messing up on an interview. The doppelganger leaks additional details regarding the true pop-singer’s death.

Here's a video that the conspiract's often bring up as evidence. This a performance of Avril Lavigne back in 2001 before she became famous. After this Avril signed a million dollar contract with LA Reid.
