Mohammad was a single man, a vendor in Quiapo who was shot in the back on that fateful night in Sampaloc. He was, according to the news item, waiting with a friend and a cousin for some other friends for a little night of partying when, for no reason, he was killed by the suspects.
The report ends with a very enlightening comment apparently from a detective of the Manila Police District Homicide Section.
"Pogi nga ang biktima," he is quoted to have said.

Sana naman sa susunod magtanong muna sila bago sila pumatay. Baka pati ung mga pogi na mahilig lang naman sa pogi ay madamay sa karahasang ito. Kung kinabahan ka sa balitang ito, isa lang ang ibig sabihin nun – kulang ka lang sa kape :)
