A man from a village reeling from India's drought dug a well after he was denied access to an upper-caste one. He dug for 40 days straight until he found water.
Its a story every Indian suffering with his problem should watch and take inspiration from. A Nagpur man who's wife was denied water & insulted dug up a well in 40 days all by himself. In a village named Kalambeshwar of Washim District in Nagpur when an upper caste denied giving water to a woman named Sangita from his well as she belonged to a ‘Dalit’ caste her husband Bapurao dug up the entire well in just 40 days without anyone’s help. Digging a well is not easy it takes, machinery and external manpower of 4-5 people. Bapurao did not give up even when everyone in his village thought he was going crazy and he is never going to find water as the area he was digging was a rocky terrain.

However, Tajne laboured at his task single-handedly, putting in four hours in the morning, and two hours in the evening after returning from work. He chose a spot based on instinct.
“I just wanted to provide water for my whole locality so that we Dalits did not have to beg for water from other castes," he told to reporters.
The Kalambeshwar village has a rocky terrain and has been affected by extreme water scarcity this year. It lies in one of the several parts in India that are reeling under a severe heat wave and drought that have millions without enough water for their daily needs.
The 15-foot deep well now provides water to Tajne's entire community. After being lauded by the local authorities and his neighbours, Tajne is now back to work to deepen and widen the well even further. Source: mashable.com
